Christmas Gifts Arrive in Haiti
The students of the Nehemiah Christian Academy received their gifts a little late this year but none the less they were still happy. Along with the goat gift project, the students received gifts of new underwear and socks, school supplies, toys, and of course some "sirèt" ~ creole for candy.

Two different schools in Indiana helped with the Christmas gifts this year. As part of the Adopt-A-Classroom program the kindergarten class of Central Elementary School of Lebanon sent down gifts that they packaged. The entire third grade of Oak Trace Elementary School collected over 200 tooth brushes and paste for the NCA.
Part of the celebration consisted of a special meal of rice and beans along with a small piece of chicken.

Many of the students received a new pair of shoes because of some special donations specifically for that need.

And then there was poor little Mitania who has the chicken pox and was unable to attend the party (she still received her gift).
